He attended Brooklyn Technical High School before earning his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University and later his law degree from Boston University School of Law. Today, he balances his professional endeavors with his personal passions and philanthropic efforts.

An avid hiker, he enjoys exploring trails both locally on Long Island and in the Catskills, with favorites like Kaaterskill Falls and Windham Path. Sailing is another passion that began during his graduate school years on the Charles River. He now participates in local club races on Long Island, including weekly regattas and the Around Long Island Regatta, a two-day offshore race.

His enthusiasm for classic cars—especially vintage Land Rovers—has led him to join several enthusiast groups, where he frequently attends meetups and off-road adventures. Working on and restoring these vehicles has become a meaningful way for him to bond with his son, blending mechanical skills with a shared love for history and adventure.

Philanthropy plays a central role in Sarfraz’s life. While he keeps much of his charitable work private, his focus is on supporting orphaned children through education, housing, clothing, and other essential care.
